They both were very happy that day.

After many attempts,they finally got what they had wished for;

an admission for their child in the number one school of the city.

To celebrate the same,

they invited their neighbour cum best friend for dinner.

Dinner was ready.

Dining table was set.

They both were eager to share their happiness.

“Do you know school has the world class infrastructure?

Indoor and outdoor playground,digital library,

advanced science and ICT lab…”,Father exclaimed with great enthusiasm.

He went on talking and simultaneously smiling at his wife.

The way they were describing the school,

it seemed as if they themselves were going to attend it.

Neighbour was listening calmly and patiently.

“ Have you asked about the teachers?

Who are they? How is their nature?

How are they as a person?

As soon as they both listened to the questions posed to them,

their smile got evaporated,

and silence took its place.
