Forever After Two Decades.

Sitting side by side

Though meeting after two decades

Feeling as if meeting for the first time

Both were sitting on the beach

Barefoot and bare hearted

No one was wanted to break the silence

Engrossed in the past violence

Past sins,and past separation of life.

Sun was setting down

Emotions were rising up

She was widow since 5 years.

He was unmarried since she left.

Both were getting anxious!

Silence of years blocking words

Years have passed,more than love

experienced loneliness and lethargy

Daily they both had habit of sitting

On the beach alone,while today

It was not the case.

Today they were together

Sitting beside each other

A moment which came after

Years of prayers and penance.

Feelings felt,heart melt.

Waves came, touched their dried feet and dried life

Unconscious became conscious

Lips smiled,looks exchanged

Separate hands became one,

Separate fingers entangled into one.

Silence of years broke

And most awaited words broke

from both side in unison,

“ I want to be with you forever!

  I want to live with you till life                  

   leave”
