Still 'Friends'

Though we call ourselves friends,

We have stopped meeting since      

Life started making  more sense

During the school days,

We were equal in terms of

Class and studies;

We were the best buddies!

After Matriculation,

We did further calculation,

Some calculated science,

Some did commerce!

Since then we cease to remain same,

And lost our friendship fame!

Now in the current time

In the name of our friendship,

We only have a whatsapp group

Where we wish

Luck for the changes happening in our life!

Only That much relation we have now!

It would have been better

If  we had never came out of the school

We would have been not running like a fool

If we had learned to be together,

And helped each other in remaining cool!

Alas! Nothing can be changed now,

It is the fact that we are still friends

Tough we cease to spend time together

Since the day,

We entered into responsibility den!
