Nikah At Night- Part one
Nikah at Night
Chapter 1 Place
with multiple names.
As usual, she was standing their
outside her house, waiting for the customer. It is hard to use the word 'house'
for the place she was living in. It was just a shabby, old, rotten place where
even window was considered as luxury or if I put in the words of societal
morality and values that house or the area was sinful, debauched, and vicious
where even air refrains to enter, it does not want to get the label of pervert,
corrupt or unrighteous. The condition of the place was not at all suitable for
the human dwellings. It was just an enormous structure having lots of
unfurnished, unventilated rooms. In the name of the furniture, each room had a
chair, an old bad, one mirror to get dressed, and lastly a bathroom. That's was
all. It cannot just be called a room for the people living there. For them it
was their home, office, shop, factory or even mandir or masjid. It was their
whole world. It was the place where all well reputed, well educated people of
the society wanted to spent some time, though for the society they are living
in , that place is considered as morally incorrect and against the structure of
the value based society. It was the charm and aura of the place, when any one
used to enter there, they automatically and voluntarily left the luggage of their
belief system at the entry level and
transformed themselves into a probable
customer who is ready to pay some sort of money in return of the given service.
That area has many names in different languages. In English it is called ' Red
light area', in Urdu ' Husna Bazaar' and in Hindi ' Randi Khana.'

Chapter 2: Bride.
She was still waiting, but has
not encountered a single customer for the day. She thought that something is missing;
either sari or make-up is not properly done. At last she decided to change it.
She went inside. She had deep liking for the yellow colour, so chose or
selected yellow sari in replacement of the sari she was wearing. It was the
irony of her and other girls living there, that they daily used to get dressed
to get undressed. The whole purpose of wearing shining and attractive clothes
and captivating make up was to attract customers, who will show interest in removing their
clothes and do the thing for which they have landed there, in just return of
some filthy money. She wore the sari, put the bindi, applied light red
lipstick, arranged her glossy hair, they were not tied up into a bun, unlike
other girls , she used to keep them open and straight with one thin curl
hanging on the side of right cheek. She had purchased one golden chain and a
pair of ear-rings. They were also a part of her get up. This way, it was daily
schedule of getting dressed as bride. She was looking gorgeous and bitterly
beautiful. She was looking more beautiful and alluring than the usual bride.
Though she was looking bride, there was no least chance of getting her married.
Only one element of the marriage was there in their life and that is
celebrating first night. Bride used to remain the same while bride groom
changes on daily basis. She went out to resume her business.

Chapter 3 Rape in the disguise of
reward.
Her name was Aafiya. Because of
the virtue of the place, she was living in; they were awarded with different
names: Prostitute, Vesya, Randi. Having a name it was just formality, there no
one was bother with the name, whether your are Reshma or Rashila, it doesn't
matter. Since five years she was living there. Before landing there, she had
spent her life in an orphanage. She was found laying astray in the railway platform.
When she started crying, it came into the notice of the crowd present there,
they took her and gave her to the railway authority. They announced again and
again for her parents to come and take her back, but when after several announcements
parents have not turned up, they understood that she was deliberately left
there. After they informed the police and submitted her to their custody. At
that time she was only five to six days old. Police admitted her into an
orphanage run by the NGO called ' Every human is needed'. The condition of the
orphanage was pathetic. The prevailing atmosphere was very harse and
depressive. All the children living there were deprived of even basic facilities
of life: good and healthy food, nice and clean clothes. Their life was quite
different than the normal children. It was not that children living there were deprived
in terms of food, clothes or education but they were also deprived in terms of love,
care, feelings, relations, and sense of belonging. Life was very difficult and tedious.
When she was admitted there she was taken a good care till she become one year
old. The reason behind that was police used to ask about her condition on
regular basis, with time they stopped that practice. Time went on and she
became five years old. The works at the orphanage was divided into two groups. One
group contained children below fifteen years of age and other above fifteen
years. Those who came in the former group were responsible to look after the
cleaning of the place and cooking for all the people living there, while the
latter group had to work as labourers in the cotton factory from 7 am in the
morning till 9 pm at night. They were in total 30 children. The Orphanage had
made a contract with the cotton factory near by it. As per the established
rule, when Aafiya turned fifteen she was enrolled in the factory as
labourer. She was working hard. She was very beautiful and charming. One year
passed, Factory owner was very fond of her, not with her work but for her body,
her extravagant beauty. He wanted to have physical relation at any cost. One
night when all had left or almost returned home, factory manager came to her
said that the owner is very happy with her work and wants to reward her for
that. He has asked to visit his office. She with a smile dashed off towards the
office. Office was very dark and its formation was such nothing can be heard outside
it. As soon as she went inside, he closed the door, pounced on her and brutally
raped her for whole night.

Chapter 4 Pre
Planned Arrangements
Mr.Qayyum, the factory owner had good
tie with the orphanage manager. He was indulged in many illegitimate trades
other than the cotton factory. Factory was only for the symbol and showing its
source of income. Under the ground he was running many illegal and felonious
activities such as flesh trade, running bars, running gambling houses, and
human trafficking. He was running brothel of his own. He had good relations
with the orphanage manager. Manager, in advance was aware about what happened
to Aafiya that night. He was given 1 lakh rupees for that. To show nothing
wrong has happened, and to remain on the safe side, he lodged a missing FIR in
the local police station. He was quite confident that no actions will be taken
in such trivial matters as lots of people get missed on a regular basis.
