Nikah At Night- Part Two

Chapter 5 New Beginning at Brothel.

After being raped, Mr.Qayuum. sent her to his brothel. When she got up, she was very surprised and perplexed with the view of the place she was in. She had suffered so many hardships in her life and faced the wickedness and negligence of the people surrounding her that she did not felt any pain or dejection. She was aware with the flesh trade. She got up and climbed down the stairs. As soon as she entered the main hall, and observed the activity going on there, she understood her new fate. It became clear to her what is her new job or new work. There was no point of feeling exploited, dejected or forlorn. She had never experienced the things such as love, care, rest, enjoyments, entertainment, relaxation, appreciation, and future wishes. Since childhood she was habitual working hard, sustaining physical punishments, listening abusive words, eating filthy and unhealthy food, living in dirty and unhygienic place. In comparison to the orphanage, this place looked better to her. In some days she understood the whole process and like other girls got engrossed in the work.

                                             Chapter 6. Adeeb

During the whole day, she used to wait for a moment when she was awarded with the glimpse of Adeeb. Adeeb was the young man of 30. He was working as a  labourer in the grain market of the city and his house was somewhat distance away from the brothel. He daily used to pass from there. It happened before two years. One day when he was passing from there, he saw her. He felt good and stream of happiness flowed in her heart. As soon as she looked at him, he got scared and felt little discomfort and moved away from there. With each passing day, it became daily schedule. He daily pass from their around at 10 pm. He used to stand on the opposite side of the road, see her for a minute and then move towards his home. He has fallen for her but had no courage or if I put in other words he intentionally was refraining from building new relationship. He was the sole bread earner of the family; his father had died when he was 12 years old. They were very desolate. From that day onwards, he left the school and got indulged in the labour work. He got her two sisters married and currently living with his diseased mother and his younger brother is studying in the English medium boarding school, far away from the city. Though fees were high, he had determined to pay them, nevertheless how hard he has to work. He does not want his younger brother to suffer like he did. He wanted to provide him a good education and life of dignity. His most part of the income spent after paying fees and purchasing medicines for his mother. He was hardly left with any money. Though he also wished of having his own wife and family, he refrained from doing so. He was afraid that if he does that, he will not be able to bear the cost of the house. He would not be able to give good life to his wife. He did not want any innocent being to suffer like him. It was his firm belief that no one should suffer because of him. He has shut all the doors of happiness for himself. He used to work day and night. There was no time for entertainment or companionship in his life. These were the reasons which averted him from approaching Aafiya and tell his feelings to her. With time Aafiya also started developing feeling for him. Though she was illiterate, she had art of reading the human expression, body language and their hidden motives. He was expert in reading and recognizing people especially men. In those two years, she had never seen any sign of lust in his eyes. She always saw sign of great respect and honour for her in his eyes. She also started falling for him. Both had difficult life. No presence of happiness except that moment. It became a daily business. Those some seconds were life giving to both of them.

Chapter 7. Nikah

It has been two months Aafiya has not seen him. Since two months he was not passing from there. She was getting restless day by day. Finally one night he came. He was looking different that day. Unlike other days he was not clad in old, torn, dirty clothes. He had worn blue check shirt and black formal pants. He was looking very fresh and handsome. He had one bag in his hand. He came and stood at his usual place. But to Aafiya's surprise, he was coming towards her, her heartbeat rose, he finally came to her.

" Salam, I am Adeeb" He said in slow and timid voice.

" Salam, I am Aafiya." she blushed and replied.

"I, actually want to say that I …." As he was saying she smiled, hold his hand and said, "I know, I know what you want to say. Can we go inside and talk?" she said those words with such a charm and sweetness that no one can deny to her calling.

He nodded. They went inside and both sat on the bad. Both were looking at each other. They don't want that precious moment to end. They both had not felt such emotions, such feelings, such high level of happiness and love never before. They were at the peak of their emotions.Adeeb took her hand in his hand and said,

"I love you!"

"I am aware about that, I love you too!" She replied with smile. Before he could say anything she hugged her tightly, he also hugged her and pressed her against his chest. So much peace and contentment! They were feeling each other's breath and he slowly spoke in her ear, "I want to do Nikah with you!"

"Here, Now, How will do?"

" He took her hands in his both hands and asked," Will you be my wife?" He asked this question three times and she replied with 'Kabul hai' every time.

Nikah concluded. A Nikah where there were no parents, no relatives, no friends, no neighbours. A Nikah where there was no large feast, greetings, pompous clothes and decorations. A Nikah in which two deprived soul. accepted each other's love in the presence of the God Almighty. God was the only witness of their Nikah.Adeeb with him had brought some eatables such as sweets and biryani.They had their Nikah feast. Newly married couple decided to eat with each other's hand. They took turns and feed each other. It was the moment which they have always wanted, for which they had prayed day and night. They both relished the food in such a way that they were eating for the first time, as if they were starving since many years. After the feast Aafiya asked Adeeb to wait for some time and she went into the washroom.

Chapter 8. First Night

Daily she used to dress as bride but today not for the world, but for her and Adeeb, she was newly married bride. She put on the black blouse and wore the purple sari. She did the make-up. She was looking stunning. When she came out Adeeb was not able to believe his eyes. She was looking like a fairy!

He was feeling hesitated; she understood that, she went and sit beside him .She then brought him near to her and start kissing him. He was surprised; he took her in his arms and started kissing her. They both were kissing passionately, biting each other's lips, sucking each other's tongues. Today for the first time she was able to feel, she was not feeling like machine. She was getting high. In the morning, she found dead, sleeping in her bad. When people saw her, her face was shining with brightness, she was smiling; her eyes were wide open as if she had seen the God! As soon as Adeeb left and reached home, he vomited blood, he vomited three times. Since two months, he was admitted in the hospital. He was suffering from the liver failures, which had caused huge damaged to his both kidneys also. He got treatment in the government hospital, but he had reached at such stage where cure was not possible. So doctor decided to discharge him, so that he could spent his last days with his family. After vomiting he felt acute pain and breathed his last breath.

Thought apparently, both died at the night for the world, but in real sense they both born again in the new world called heaven to live the life which they have been deprived of in this futile world.
